Order out troubles

And in an interesting turn of events today my phone suddenly stopped working.
It had died a blank Black Death and wasn't responding to anything whatsoever.
I pushed every button, plugged it into iTunes, even gently spoke to it like a wee babe, but the damned thing refused to look anything more than dead.
Ah I thought.
Now I'll have to take it to the repairs and that entire list of movements that I'd have to soon undertake was beginning to form in my head..except that I found a repair center nearby, and it wasn't just any repair center for they didn't have an office one could go to, it was a house call service center.
Basically you tell them your phone woes and they send a technician to your house who comes in with all the necessary bells and whistles and sits in your house tinkering about on your phone and mends it.
Whoa to the gods.
I didn't have to step out anywhere, a guy barely out of college made a house call, figured my phone problems, fixed it and was gone.
Everything done and dusted in less than fifteen minutes, and here I was contemplating taking it to a shop.
Oh and did I tell you it cost me almost half of what I knew I'd be charged in those phone shops.

I mean I don't know if I should thank my stars or just be glad that someone had the mind to think of such a lovely idea as to fix phone things with a simple house call.
No stepping out in this weather, nothing!

The problem with my phone was that its battery was broken. Yeah broken. I don't know how that happened but it did, and that's why it is been draining off manna so fast.
New battery, new screen even and this phone is as good as new.
And to think I was about to format the damn thing.

Looks like today is a fix up day, since the ac guy is pumping gas and doing an assorted sort of tinkering with the living room air conditioner.

Ah!!
Now for some coffee and back to drawing.

Did you know 'people' are working from home today? Sheesh.
