Chickening out

For the past couple weeks I've been having this nagging gluttonous urge to have some delicious fried chicken.

There's this lovely fried chicken kiosk near my house called 'power chicken' and I often see the seller dolling out huge portions of succulent fried chicken, sprinkling them with some seasonings I know not of and handing them to eager buyers.

Fried chicken has gained immense popularity here, not least because they're mad about KFC's but also because of the insane popularity of fried chicken in Korea which also abbreviates to KFC.
In fact the last time I ate fried chicken was in Korea and they have the most awesome way of serving it.
Apart from the seasonings sprinkled liberally they're served with ketchup, mayonnaise, tartar sauce and sweetened pickled radish which is five kinds of delicious.

I don't know how they serve it up here in this particular 'power chicken' shop but I love how crunching bronzed it looks and every time I pass that shop I wonder if I shouldn't buy some and gorge myself on it.

I haven't to this date and that's sad, but maybe I'd like to over the weekend.

Ah, fried foods..so delicious.

I'm going to dish up some pumpkin and lentils and rice and roti and call it a dinner..sighs
