I've never really been to concerts where you actually sit yourself down on chairs and rock to a band..having said that almost everyone here knew the lyrics to almost all their songs.
So really it was a congregation of fans.
All in all a really fun night.
The show was fantastic, what with the perfect combo of sound, light, atmosphere and a totally non chaotic state of affairs.
The band MLTR knows their stuff and almost 3 decades of being a tight band has perfected their skills at enthralling the crowds, playing the right music at the right time, choosing songs that will deliver maximum impact at appropriate times, showing up for encores and keeping the most favorites mad hits for the last to break audiences into a frenzy of fanatic cries and claps.
A great night should end in a good meal but the plan for dinner fell flat on its face when the show ended much too late to let any restaurants be open and would you believe I let myself be drawn to a McDonalds and ate a double cheeseburger.
Now that's saying something.
Am I feeling guilty? No, not a bit. Some allowances should be made and a mere burger does little to break down my system, not that I'll be having another anytime soon, at least not till next year.
Let's see, I ate at a fast food chain almost four times this year and that's saying a lot.
Ah then, nighttime and I see no sleep on the horizon save 'house of chains' and to that I shall immerse myself.
If I keep at it I think I will finish it in another week or ten days with a steady fast pace that is.
I try to read everyday and some days I read over a hundred pages and some days I can only manage twenty, but not a single day goes when I read none.
Hearts aplenty this night..
