Toned needs

Sad stories are made of your favourite product empties.
Case in point my absolutely cherished toner that is near its death bed and will be nothing but a beautifully transparent turquoise bottle of emptiness come tomorrow night.
I am evangelical about a few things and an alcohol-free toner and micellar water are on top of my evangelical food pyramid.

I have just spent over two hours looking for that one specific brand of micellar water and toner and I'm sad to report that I found just the water but nay for the toner.

If this doesn't call for a sob fest I don't know what does.
The problem isn't that I didn't merely find them but that I'm not too sure if they were the originals.
There aren't too many shops keeping the specific Lancôme products I need and the couple places I found, well, one was in HK and the other looked dubious at best.
So here I am sans toner. :(

Might be will have to go to a Lancôme shop specific, but whatever it takes.

There are a hundred Korean brands some good some average touting good toners and they are bad at best because all of them or at least most contain alcohol. Gasps!!
All these faceshops and Laneige of the world are alcohol based toners..and that's disastrous I tell you..absolutely most categorically disastrous for the skin.
It makes my hair stand on edge when I read their ingredients at the back and almost always find alcohol.
There shan't be a singular drop of alcohol touching my skin, no sir! Not at all.

Take my advice dear sir and steer far away from Korean beauty products.
For no other reason than that they are a bit crazy.

If you're looking for good Asian brands then Shiseido and SK-II are what you're looking for..because they're indeed most impeccable in their performance and they have a couple products I've been using since forever.
You wanna spend money then these are the brands you want to get pauper for, not Korean ones.
But that's just me. I could hear almost every second person I know swear by some goddamn innisfree or other some such..and maybe they're good, but not really!

Talking of micellar water: I don't know why this isn't a staple in our beauty community. Why so called beauty influencers don't talk about it or even use it.
Granted it's a bit vintage in existence and extremely out of fashion but its the most useful product someone who's in need for good skin can have in their routine.
Ah maybe it is out of fashion then, but what am I if not a stickler for all things classic?

Also this was a most useless post. But by the gods I spent two hours looking for something on taobao and somebody's gotta hear of my pains.
