Also got another space cake yesterday and I've eaten two bites of it

I am breaking bits of my space cake every couple hours and popping it into me and I'm a very happy tourist!!

I was so exhausted and high yesterday that sleep took me in a minute after resting on the bed and five minutes after that I was awake the entire night through.
Problem being the mattress was so horrible that I couldn't get myself to feel comfortable.
It was too soft and didn't provide any support
And the room was strangely hot and cold and the duvet entirely too thick and I kept tossing and turning the entire night.
Slept for maybe an hour in between and woke up for the day.
Right now I'm en route to a Rembrandt museum and my body doesn't know if it's awake or asleep which is why I did the next best thing which was to take a bite of my hash brownie as a micro dose and right now I'm fucking high!!
I am carrying my space cake (as these edibles are aptly called) and I will keep biting a piece now and then to stay this way.
This is definitely better than eating an entire cake and getting stupidly high.
This shit is fucked up!! And why smoke when you can eat?

Went foraging into the woods the other day for some sticks to use to steady some plants and I chanced upon some wild blossoms.
Brought them home and here they are quietly blossoming in a vase of water.

There’s a smile

Morning started with taking Gogi for his usual 6 monthly check up and his vitals are better than before.
The doctor was quite happy with his parameters which seem to not only have improved but have declined towards the normal side and in fact he's even gained weight.
I have a spring in my step even though today has kept me busy and I am happy, so happy to know my Gogi is doing well, in fact better than before.

First I'll narrate an incident from not twenty minutes ago.
My neighbour (the other ones and not the immediate ones sharing metal fence) who barely talk or interact with us, called out today when I stepped outside in the garden and basically in a sort of direct and brassy tone told me not to let my cats into her garden as they have some cement work going on.

Since the lady in question was a bit far away and not totally audible I had to ask her to repeat what she said and she rolled her eyes .

That made me want to punch her!

But now that she sounded clearer I understood what she meant but I still didn't like her tone, nor her way of talking to me.

It nagged me so much that five minutes later I was ringing her doorbell.

She was quite taken aback upon seeing me but I wasn't there to fight but to apologise and so I gave her a silk wrapped slab of Chinese wooden bookmarks 🔖 with silk threads work, something I know she'd probably never have seen before in her life with a note attached regarding my cats and their naughtiness (something I am not apologetic about) but seeing her face drain of any colour and immediately follow up with a crimson burst of embarrassment was quite the reward.

She stuttered before telling me something garbled about how cement work is happening in her garden and that my cats might get hurt etc. I thanked her for her concern, assured her I'd keep my cats in check and left.
She stood there looking dazed and weirded out.
Yeah I felt good.
She's not going to have any issues and if she does she won't be able to say it.

I mean come on.
Where is the politeness towards fellow human and neighbours at that!

A bit and not a lot

Today, a Friday!
Housecleaning day. The kind where I vacuum, mop and dust.
A bit intensive that takes me easily about 2-3 hours.
But there's also recording to be done!
Which means I have to start cleaning now and then shower, record and call it a day.
It's going to be a busy Friday but I don't mind it.
This is almost recreational because I have planned the cleaning in advance and I like to take it step by step, not least because it makes up for not working out today.

Talking about workout, I increased the weights in my strength training and my legs have been feeling it since Tuesday.
Oh yes, I find myself wincing every now and then but it's only going to serve me well when I continue with this trend.
I can feel myself getting stronger.

The day that is today

Morning and I am home, the guests are gone, the tea is getting sipped, the mood is all over the place!
I have workout to complete and then editing work to do and I am late because I should have done a bit yesterday but no!
Today will be a pretty usual Tuesday.
Wake up, pack lunch, make tea, gear up for a workout and eat a small lunch and edit!
What's it going to be today?
Ah! I feel so nothing!

Currently in a place called Triberg which is home to cuckoo clocks and kirschtorte which we know as Black Forest cake and as with everything German there is a time when it will be available to eat which will be around noon!

The town is shut after eight around here and the only functioning things are bars which stay open till 3 am usually and strangest of all smoking inside bars is a thing!
Well I had to air out my clothes this morning cuz I drank some German beer and ate far too much food.

A place

Out in town in literally the sleepiest place I've seen where everything shut down at 8 and the pubs stay open till 3!
Walked into what was literally a hole in the wall and everyone is smoking indoors :/
Like what??
One beer and I'm off cuz I can't have my cashmere stinking of smoke.

Funny things this morning

Morning and plans to leave on designated time as discussed with people are derailed because these timings received zero approval by guests in the house who have a kid who is unwilling to wake up in time and so instead of leaving at 8:30 for which I planned, woke up and am in fact ready we will leave anywhere around 10 or even 11. With a 5 hours drive I don't know how much of the new city we can see .
Anyways I expected as much.
Not everyone lives by a time table especially not people with little kids and so here I am, a bit unhappy that the man won't lift up the toilet seat and sort of pleased to see people's entire schedule so carefully crafted come to a stunning halt!
Hahaha!

Afternoon and I am exhausted.
The last two days I have been fixing everything around the house and putting things in order, not least because I will be gone for two days and the babes will be on their own, getting visited twice a day by our lovely landlady. But I need to have everything in order so that there is no want of anything last moment nor any crisis whilst I'm away.
Also, I've a thrum in my head which isn't making life feel comfortable.
Also, feeling sleepy.
So many things all at once.
I will soon prepare dinner for party of 5 and let's see after that.
