And so I ordered une brookie, to which the seller immediately responded oui, un brookie. I should just ask for two of everything.

I watched avatar and I don't think they need to make another sequel, not least because it's always the same story repeating itself. Someone's trying to prove themselves, fighting enemies, getting doubted, while being treated as outsiders, but everyone comes together etc etc.
This movie was one hour too long.

I ran out of yarn and so it's going to be a two tone scarf. 

Have ordered a dozen yarns for a project blanket which I will commence once the yarns reach me.

Portugal trip is done and I sit in my warm living room surrounded my little blobs of fur who're  only too happy we are back. 

I have a vlog to edit which I will start maybe tomorrow. 

Other than that, wow it's freezing here. Portugal was pleasant when sunny and cold when raining but here, it's icy! The moment I got off the flight I was hit by an icicle of teething wind and my feet have not warmed since .

Perhaps tonight I shan't sleep in my slip of a night dress and maybe wear a tee on top. 

Apparently last night the overzealous babes were so happy to see us they made it a point to sleep on the bed, so much so that I was hanging out of the covers and spent my night cold on my left side as my duvet was all but encroached.

A bit of stuff

These are olives 

Olive trees are the most common trees here, growing everywhere you look , however you can't just pluck an olive and plonk it in your mouth cuz they taste like earwax. A natural défense against birds etc. These need to be brined to taste how they usually taste. But seeing a million olives fallen to the roads, crushed under foot and tyre made me feel sad. 

Also I have quit eating 🐙 octopus.

Just outed myself right now by singing the 'glo friends' song which people then made fun of me for it, saying I watched toddler shite.
I don't know why I know of glo friends but I remember watching them in Goa.

I finished my small cat blanket yesterday.

And I'm sad that won't be able to crochet when I'm in Portugal? Why? Will I be busy?
Should I take some material with me?
Should I crochet on the flight?
Or should I just keep at my hook which I feel like I don't know when to put down?

For some reason I have packed my bathing suit knowing well that it will not be warm enough to dunk myself in the ocean but my lord my first stay (Faro) is in a seaside villa and it is only logical that I at the very least try to let the waves wash over? No?
