So people fell sick with cold a couple days after reaching here and feels like today I'm on the same road.
My throat feels a bit dry, I've not been able to shake off this feeling and it feels almost like it's settling in.
I don't want to fall sick.
It's been a year and maybe my time is up.
At least I'm not worried that this might be something else other than the usual bit even so falling sick nearly at the end of this year. Come on!!

Some issues

Morning and I wake up to the usual rashes and allergies that happen to me on seaside humid areas. 

The sun makes it worse, the salt compounds it and yet it gets better on its own. 

My skin is fussy I say.

That’s not what it looks like !

So I've been zooming in and out of the last bikini pic I posted and I notice the crack in the soap, or I'm guessing it's a crack because it sure hell looks like something fishy which cannot be because in this swimwear vacation that's the one thing largely absent from everyone's groin. :) 

This is another pic from the morning which I thought was a bit blurry and posted the other one and the soap looks absolutely fine here. 

Is it a crack in the camera lenses? 

Now this is a mystery because I cannot make sense of it. 

Anyways, moments after the pool I left for the beach and the water was cold and I took a long long swim and forgot all about lunch and just got back. 

Sitting in my bathing suit in the balcony with a cup of tea and thinking maybe I'll shower quickly and sit on one of the pool chairs and have some beer because it's a goddamm vacation is it not!!

New moods

I'm building a fish sandwich for myself over raisin and nuts whole wheat bread I'd made a while back. 

The bread is sweet, the salad I've made in question is sour and the fish is slightly salty with a spritz of lemon. Here's hoping for the best. 

Bonus cat

Day 2 and I've not done any workout. 

I feel a bit sort of dead like. Something inside me keeps twitching with little thumps of ache and it makes me realise exactly why I'm not jumping and sweating. 

I miss cardio. 

It's bright today. 

Maybe if the weather stays I'll go for a brisk walk nearby.

Why does it annoy me to know that an acquaintance of a family member who has overstayed their welcome has no qualms in polishing off a bottle of their host's bourbon.
It's not just bad manners it's a sickening exploitation of help and resources provided.

How does one just finish off the damn thing? It's not like there's a lockdown anymore.
Buy your own fucking booze!!!

Feeding someone is one thing because that's a necessity but alcohol is more of a pleasure or an entertainment aspect and that isn't included in provisions.
It'll really piss me a whole lot more of the 'acquaintance' in question doesn't replenish the bottle of alcohol.
Also, absolutely disgusting to not have even asked the host if they'd like a drink or leave most of it back in the bottle just in case there are others who want to drink.
I find this behaviour deplorable and yes discussing or pointing out this obvious lack of social etiquette's can be petty but seeing how long the person has been staying in the house, there's no need to stay formal and maybe one can actually bring this topic up for discussion or the very least make a mention of it.

Vacuum finds

They're filled with marzipan that I made at home and can I just say I'm expecting good things from this.

So here we are! 

Baked potatoes, fish and some roasted veg with balsamic reduction and lemon juice. 

Fishing

Isn't this the loveliest slab of fish steam baked and lightly charred to preserve the freshness of this beauty!! 

I have sprinkled some black pepper and salt to finish it off and it'll be on my plate soon. 

Plans

Today Ima eat this gorgeous piece of fish. Eat whatever I can maybe and make a salad out of leftovers tomorrow.

Sounds like a plan!!?! 

In the ruins of today

Say one thing about today say it has me pissed from the moment I opened my eyes.
Morning greeted me with a house strewn with cat food because 'hope' got into a bag of a 10 kilo cat food and kept clawing at it until it gave way and proceeded to along with other cats have some sort of a debauched mukbang party through the night, after which they began perhaps playing in their food and the entire house was carpeted with their dry food.
I'm glad it was the dry food they got into!!

The cleaning was a bit of a process. The food then had to be put back into other containers, and I had none which was big enough to house 10kilos.
My plan was always to siphon off some of it and transfer it into the 2 kilo box every few weeks while keeping the larger airtight bag in another room.
A large portion of today was thusly spent just trying to find a way out of this conundrum.

I had to mop my house almost 3 times over and over again with a mixture of dettol and a drop of cedar wood essential oil to rid the house of the ghost of a smell left from all the food strewn everywhere.

This done I was finally able to make some tea and it was while deciding today's workout routine that I found myself on my knees, clutching my insides from tearing apart and falling out because of a fleeting deathly cramp.

Things aren't going as planned!!
This is a Monday I say, not a Tuesday as I sit feeling small beats of agonising painful flurry making itself felt in my back and legs.

Shit is officially fucked today!!
Might as well get to baking my stollen.
I'll be making about 4 of them for my friends and hope to finish this endeavour by tomorrow as I'm leaving day after for a 10 day long vacation.
