Do not!

I mean why?

After being drawn to a patisserie and yielding to an inner greed I ended up buying a couple doughnuts yesterday.
Now here's the thing about doughnut.
I do love them, but my formula for eating one is to try and remember the last time I had one, and I think I didn't have any this year, which meant I could let myself feel the itch to grab one, or even two and call it a weekend.

Say one thing about me, say I'm a conservative doughnut eater at best, in that I'm never drawn to any doughnut that looks anything unlike one; star shaped, eclair shaped or anything other than a classic glazed doughnut is something I wouldn't eat.
No custard filled, chocolate mousse stuffed, bacon glazed, green tea tinted, strawberry flavoured doughnuts for me, no sir.
Just a simple basic sugar crusted or glazed one is all I need, but somehow yesterday apart from picking up a classic glazed one I let myself get tricked into picking a chocolate covered one as well.
I had them packed and decided to indulge after dinner, except I forgot and since I wasn't hungry yesterday I dined on a watermelon forgetting about the doughnuts that sat serenely in my bag.

One was silently plucked and eaten without my knowledge and of course it was the classic sugar glazed one and I didn't know of it until this morning I realised I'd forgotten these lovelies in my bag and found just the one.

Now what do I do?
It's a Monday!! I do not cheat eat on weekdays and yet I couldn't have this chocolate topped circle sit for a week in the refrigerator, and so I did what I shouldn't have done.

With my morning cup of masala tea I let myself feast on this little darling and now I wonder what should I do to atone for these sins?
I had a burger on Saturday and a doughnut on Monday! Gasps! I think I'll go and cry in a corner.
I can already feel the fat launch a crusade against my cholesterol and insulin.
Yikes!
Gods it was delicious. Oh so soft and delicious.
