For the now

Say one thing about today say it's been extraordinarily busy, not least because I woke up late and pushed every task by a few hours and have just now got done with dinner.
That I've been on my toes for the entirety of the day, sitting for only exactly 45 minutes to listen to a bit of Cain coddling Mael'koth after which I was up and about and doing things.
Right from cleaning to lunch, to a bit of unwinding and back to baking after which I was out for a bit and then dinner.
Phew they say and so do I.
I'd disinherit today but it's already happened and it's a Wednesday. I've a bit of soft corner for Wednesday's.

A bit about the cake:
So I finally decided on making a marbled two tone cake. One part buttery orange and the other part a malicious chocolate.
I do love the combination of orange and chocolate and in this marbling method it turns out not only seductively patterned but also subtle.
I'd made several little cakelets for my neighbours and I believe them when I got a message saying the cakes were delicious.
I haven't yet tried mine because the birthday is tomorrow but what of it? I'll cut me a slice in a bit, once I'm done grazing through this watermelon which is almost 2kgs.

I will put a picture of the cake tomorrow in better light.
