Now that the second season of Ozark is out it's on the upcoming playlist of series that is watched as a twosome at home because the whole idea of finance and money laundering etc is appealing to some people, me not so much simply because I found the first season a bit boring after a few episodes.
The whole idea of Jason Bateman in a negative shade is great but somehow there are no redeeming characters on the show and it's one those series that I binge watched because it was systematically played after dinner until it was time to sleep.
Yes it's exciting in a certain way and I can see how it can be fun for some people but then I never much liked Breaking Bad either, and yes that show was fantastic too but I somehow don't vibe with such series that are spread out with that sort and style of story telling having absolutely no characters you wish to root for.
But I do love watching Better call Saul so there is that.
I think my favourite character on Ozark is the kid. He has funny lines and gives that grandfatherly sort of feeling which I absolutely abhor in kids but somehow he dons it well.
Currently watching The 3rd season of Peaky Blinders which is most definitely the kind of story and series I admire and like with the kind of pacing and style that vibes with me on so many levels and doesn't have many takers in this household which makes it a bit special to me, making it that time during that day when I do nothing save put an episode on and watch it languorously.
Talking of which when on earth is season 2 of Castslevania releasing?
