Something about the light fluffiness of a Japanese cheesecake that feels far more palatable than the usual western ones with a biscuit base that somehow seems cloying and almost sticks to the roof of your mouth as opposed to the ethereal almost foamy diaphanous bite that a Japanese cheesecake has to offer.
I say this as I daintily chomp down a small cheesecake slice that I happened to buy from a Japanese cake shop seeing how I don't even remember the last time I had a sweet treat like this which is exactly the reason why I bought it.
