I am apathetic towards poppadums and cucumbers in that I'd never go out of my way to roast and chop them for my needs until a recipe demands so or if I'm in the mood for salad (in case of cucumber) but the thing with both these items is that they're exceptionally moreish. It's the texture perhaps, the crackle and crunch which makes them stupidly addictive and how does one stop at one?
