Today has lashed against me so vivaciously that I am but knackered and as I came back half dead from the long day which had me wound up to the throat all I could think of was dying a bit on the sofa. For me that mostly means just sitting and catching up on YouTube or Netflix or manga and keeping my mind blank from all that happens around for a short while, but of course that was not to be .
How can it?
The cats were hungry, the litter needed cleaning and this weather which is more humid than hot has once again given rise to the dreaded menace of mosquitoes which had all but died last few weeks because of the extreme heat.
Also, this weather is ripe for all my favourite hates which are crawling nasties, biting creepies and other assorted bothersome insects and so the day got gloomier as I trudged around the house peeling cushion covers and sofa covers and bed covers and pillow covers for washing, airing, sunning.
One might as well get done with it so I can have a peaceful Sunday. As if!
Also spraying around the house with citronella scents and defleaing the cats has now eroded me to a stump and my legs pain but this ain't the end.
I am now going out to buy some groceries because why not I guess.
