Buzzing around

A buzzer seemingly goes off in the morning and it's get set go from that moment on.

I was just finishing up with mopping when a frantic kid came banging on the door complaining his house was flooding.
What??

He was my neighbour whose dogs I'd been caring for and all alone since his mom had left for work .
There indeed was flooding.
The entire kitchen and balcony was submerged under water and there seemed to be a small fountain from the drain where the water came erupting out of .
This was indeed odd because I've never seen something like this happen and so donning on a bit of respectable clothing I ran to the management office seeking help.
Sometime later a handyman with the toolbox and gadgets showed up and I stayed hovering in the neighbour house, controlling the dogs and seeing what exactly was the problem.
Apparently the recent typhoon had something to do with this issue, in that it had flooded the drainage of that particular line due to excessive rainfall and thusly this situation .

I didn't think much of it but this problem consumed around an hour of my precious morning time and I'd not even had my lemon water.
Ah, so the day began fairly late after a bit of problem solving and then I had to take the senior cat to the vet for his annual Injections and now I'm finally contemplating workout because I need to get rid of my clogged head.

Also, the crisper tray lacks my faviurote vegetables viz, carrots and pumpkin and that's an issue I shall soon rectify because once I'm done with everything I shall head out and give myself up to city wilderness .
Theres's only so much I can take .
