What a day!
It was long, tiring and the lovely food more than made up for it and I'd probably have relished it more had it not been served on green and yellow plastic plates with matching bowls and spoons .
This restaurant of authentic food is open in the trendiest spot this side of the town where you can't be anything but fashionable and this newly opened place which is perhaps in its temporary moment while waiting for the original place to renovate, served food in coloured plastic plates .
Now, I'm not the one to fuss but I'm also not the one to enjoy eating out of plastic plates .
I mean it doesn't do it for me .
But the food was delicious level max and so I devoured it though there was a bit of half heartedness.
Languorous food followed by long walks, window shopping, seeing new things, trying new coffee shops, checking out surrounding areas et al resulted in time flying and I reached home just in time to begin dinner.
From one food to another, but I had the foresight to make preparations for tonight this morning and so I smugly smile and get on with it.
