Today rapido update

If I go into details of today I'd tell you how wet it was.
Raining for hours with ear deafening booms of continuous thunderclaps and rumbling clouds.
It did little to uplift the weather and today was probably the most humid weather in the history of my existence.

Oh did I mentioned how the technician who came to fix the ac yesterday declared it was nothing but a heap of rotten mass and that a new air conditioner would be needed instead of mending the already existing one.
So yes, a new ac was delivered today and a workman sent to unhinge the older unit from the wall but none came to install the new ac which stays still boxed up in my living room.

Let's talk about my living room which is a total mess. Dirty from the unhinging of the earlier ac what with dust and pieces of plaster which I cleaned but not too ferociously since I was under the impression that someone else would come to install a new unit and it'd get dirty again..if course I was hoping against hope.

So the living room was a boiling corner of doused furnaces with water.
It was impossible to breathe in and just stepping in that area after sitting in a cool room for five minutes feels like walking into a sauna.

Since most of the activities are always happening in the living room, viz eating dinner (I don't like eating inside other rooms when there's a dining table present in the house), watching tv or movies or just generally lounging about.

I brought about all the table and other fans from the house and fixed them right in front of the couch and for a while it was a relief but there's only so much that full on wind from four fans can do; after a while a restless feeling of listlessness and a sort of faint that comes from spending too much time in the sauna seemed to invade my senses and it was then I waved a white flag, admitting defeat and made my way back to a frigidarium that is my bedroom and only surfaced to cook dinner, which was fajitas with all the fixings.
A Mexican fare with tortillas, guacamole, stir fried vegetables, cheesy dips, chopped raw veggies for the crunch and some edamame.
Just goes on to show how highly motivated I am by greed and gluttony.

First thing in the morning tomorrow I'm expecting a technician and if this problem doesn't solve itself this weekend I'm going into hermit mode and never stepping out of my bedroom.

My brain is addled, nerves boiled, a constant moist uneasiness always present in my cleavage and back and it's no fun.

This weather isn't for me.

Tomorrow..everything will be fine tomorrow.
