Weather glint

You know that weather? The sand coloured golden aura just before a sand storm?
The kind of weather when the sun suddenly turns a ball of muted shine and it feels like it might just rain.
When you breathe in hard there are fine particle of dust and petrichor that percolate your sinuses; a few moments after which there are winds that rattle the roofs, blow away antennae, disrupt satellite tv and lower the temperatures just a bit, when looking out of the windows, seeing trees sway in that mad dust laden gale you wonder if rains can be far behind and they're not.
Though it never rains as much but sometimes there are sheets of slanting water that cut across buildings to smack against window panes discolouring the weather to an even more yellow sepia tint, sometimes spreading that odd feeling of uplifting sensation..giving a break from the usually hot oppressive weather that besieges us during months of August.

Yeah that weather, well right now it's a bit like that, minus the strong winds, dust and rains.
It is wheatish toned rusty jewellery covered in yellowish patina kind of filter that assaults your eyes as you look out and somehow it has infiltrated the house making it look a bit pleasantly jaundiced? Like a low wattage bulb has been turned on and its weak light has seen itself fit to encroach some parts of your life but not without a certain lustre.
Yeah! That!
