Here's a bit of update on a drawing that I'd started solely so that I could finish listening to the 'Heroes Die' audiobook, but now this work is still in progress while the audiobook is finished.
Of course I could start with the second one of the 'acts of Caine' series but then this drawing might get over before the second audiobook is even halfway through and i wouldn't want to leave it unfinished.
I'll find some fun graphic novel to listen (haha) while this drawing gets done, or maybe I'll listen to a new Dresden Files.
What can I say about Heroes die except it was absolute fun.
I wished it could be longer but then that's only because I love long audiobooks.
It was easy, non complicated with few hidden nooks and crannies with a good amount of the kind of violence that doesn't make you flinch. I don't know if there's a term for it..fun violence?
There wasn't a depressing vibe or touch to it, nor the greasy kind of scarring tone that sits with you for days.
It was kind of like Harry Dresden on steroids with a blood lust and Caine was a character much too easy to fall in love with.
Props to the narrators 'Stefan Rudnicki' who moulded each voice into a face in my head.
I've to listen to the rest of the books when I'm binge drawing again.
It's such comfort to know that I don't have to go about foraging for something good to listen while I draw.
I mean can I be thankful enough?
I don't think so..
So here's my heart..gift wrapped and lace bound..beating in your lovely palms.
Kisses.
