Of scents and hearts

Went to the flower market and couldn't resist getting a wreath made which I will gift to my neighbour seeing how she can't go back to her home country this year for Christmas and be with her family and can I just say that I know exactly how it feels.

So yeah the flower market was all that and much more except a bit dead on account of being too empty with just a few like us scanning and doing light shopping.
Ah! Shopping. I did go a bit mad and bought some delightful candles but it's the one Reed diffuser that I couldn't resist and if I tell you the notes you'd be surprised, much like I was, because one whiff and I was floored.
Okay the scent is 'mandarin and coriander'. Not something we'd immediately assume to be an alluring scent, right? That's what I thought as I smelled all the oud's and the Frankincense infused with macaroons and marshmallows and fire woods and vanilla's of the world when suddenly there was a note almost like a perfect lyric that wafted around me.
There was a Darjeeling tea scent mixed with fresh cotton that I was sniffing but something kept distracting me, almost like a freshness of the greens so tender it had me pining a haiku.

What on earth was that? It was this very Reed diffuser I speak of mon ami, and it was a whiff of gentle caress, the kind of scent I'd want lingering on my wrists after sex.
A lightly earthy infusion of diaphanous grace with a wash of pristine luxury. I say pristine because the scent was rich but not thick or cloying.

This is my new bedroom scent.
