We didn't go to the botanical gardens but to another place called Sheshan which is a lone mountain area in Shanghai and has a church (which was under renovation) but it was beautiful to be in such a scenic space.
Far from the maddening crowd, which in my current state I do not hate too much. Quarantine does that to you I guess.
