Sick day -3/Recovery Day-1
I was up with a dust-dry throat on the verge of withering, bidding adieu to the world, when a small sip of warm water from my handy thermos immediately soothed it and I woke up after a while not feeling nearly as horrid as a dedicated zombie, to the point of actually enjoying this morning's moment of cooking and packing lunch.
Eyes have ceased watering and the febrile throb that seemed to resonate from every nerve is now replaced with a slight quiver that seems to be retreating.
There's no fever to speak of, the body aches are all but gone, a slight heaviness about the facial region lingers with a weakening aura and the throat feels near healed.
Much cheer and good news this.
I'm in the offwhite of health if not nearly as pink and a few days more should do it. Hopefully, that is.
