The cat lounges in sunlight
hearing the birds trill
She lets her head droop
in sunlit serenity
and suddenly looks around
with attentive eyes
moving her ears
to the sound of chirps
I fiddle with my laptop
ignoring completely
the chatter of silence
punctuated by breeze
because there are bigger things
this universe has divined for me
So I stare at my screen
that is about to restart
after an important update
