complaints

Something I mostly detest about this weather is its uncanny ability to magically turn the warmest of foods into a cold dish.
It begins cooling by the time you're done plating and setting food on the table, and when its time for a morsel, its almost tasteless cold shovels of edible paper.
This is a phenomenon only plaguing single serving sort of meals, for when I cook wok full of stews or gravy based dishes they keep a lot hotter for much longer, but if it's just a question of scrambled  eggs, stir-fried veggies and thin pieces of toast then god help you, or me in today's case.
I mean I was looking forward to my absolute scrumptious meal of lean proteins and vegetables and complex carbs, but by the time I got to eat it, gah! I hated it. It'd become cold and boring.

Perhaps I ought to stop making single serving meals of various layers, where it's comprised of different components cooked one after another to form a fare proper and make just one pot or one dish meal like noodle broth or stir-fries which just goes in a pan and comes out in one dish, because in this cold weather I cannot stomach the thought of cold food which is meant to be eaten hot.
