Mysterious books

The murder of Roger Ackroyd is one of my top favorite Hercule Poirot mysteries.
I could tell you who did it, but It'd ruin the book darling..
Best thing about Agatha Christie's books is that they're gripping and an absolute breeze to read.
They're not overly long or crammed with a hundred subplots or tedious. They're just perfect. Not too heavy, astoundingly mysterious and gobsmackingly delicious when the mystery unravels.
The best part is that there isn't a whole lot of building up to an incident which can sometimes tend to be too wearing.the mystery slaps you in the face just as you start reading and then then it's just a simple matter of resolving it.

Hercule Poirot, the famous Belgian detective is by all means one of the most fantastical detectives from any era ever.
Up there with Sherlock Holmes in every sense.
In fact he's what Sherlock Holmes wasn't—a gentleman.
Painfully prim and painstakingly proper, a man of clean habits, courteous to a fault, wth absolutely no vices whatsoever to speak of, astute, and just like Holmes knew nothing of modesty, yet he was what one would describe as perfectly classy
Hercule Poirot is the kind of character you tend to fall in love with, and if you think of it deeply, just the kind of character a woman would think up.

Also if one wishes to give Agatha Christie a shot then ' and then there were none' would be a wonderful book to try.
You'd see yourself falling hook, line and sinker.
