Is it just a case of my luck malfunctioning today?
There I was riding a bicycle, whistling a carefree tune, onwards home, done with turmoils and succeeding, wearing my lucky lipstick and favourite patent suede shoes when out of nowhere it began raining like Indra felt the need to vent and for a moment I thought it was just a drizzle.
The downpour began so abruptly that I had to immediately ditch the cycle make way for the nearest awning that happened to be outside a store, the owner of which graciously invited me inside along with another half a dozen shelter seekers who didn't see the rains coming, which means I wasn't alone.
Of course I'm carrying an umbrella but that won't be effective because the wind will just blow it inside out.
I'm informed by a very diligent student who was skateboarding back home that it's a typhoon.
So carrying an umbrella in this weather is a bit like taking a toothpick to battle.
How long I'm stuck in this furniture store is unpredictable .
