Today!
Ah today!
I've only just got back and dunked myself under cold shower after a very long hot and intense badminton session.
Why these badminton courts aren't air conditioned is beyond me .
The windows are bolted, there's no air circulation
Lest the shuttle go awry and during summers when the heat and humidity are in cahoots to boil everything, staying inside a court and playing for an hour that include 3 singles and 1 doubles game is a feat uneasily conquered.
Breathlessness escalates into paranoia and I find myself seeking the solace of fans located at the back of each court that throw mostly warm air.
It's horrible!!
And just one floor down where there are tennis and basketball courts the air conditioning on full blast makes you rather feel like a penguin!
I think I'll switch to tennis soon cuz honestly!
Maybe they'll rectify this malady soon because on the same floor they are also building cycling and skate boarding tracks and perhaps central air conditioning will soon happen because I rather feel like a steamed clam.
Also my issues with humidity border on the extreme.
I have on more than one occasion fainted in the middle of getting pictures clicked from high humid weather and I'm slowly trying to build an endurance but even for someone who's most hardcore those court conditions are alarming.
Which is why it's always a better practice to reach there early in the morning, around 8 or so and finish in time which I do, but today was special.
My little one had to get her rabies jab and that was crucial indeed.
