Just a couple hundred ingredients for a cake I thought I'd keep simple, but let's be honest darling, subtlety is a rare trait, and hardly my strong forte when it comes to eating.
So I added two components to this cake. The basic cake and a crumb topping as well, hence the many ingredients.
Also ended up adding some nuts, cardamom of course as I'd mentioned and even a double espresso shot, cuz why not.
And oh, debuted a new jar of coconut oil as well, apart from orange liquor.
I mean seriously..that's a whole medley of flavors, except the coconut flavour won't end up being overpowering because it subsides once cooked, but I sure hope fragrant cardamom pops out as I expect.
If this cake is a success and by if I do mean if, then I'll put it up on the blog as well, and oh, I'm making a whole lot of cake. At least 10 servings cuz I mean to give away almost 3/4th of it to my lovely neighbours.
