Greetings and updates

A little before 9 in the AM and I'm sipping on warm water after a whirlwind morning compounded by the fact that there were a lot of plants in the balcony that needed tending after.

My gorgeous large pot of aloe Vera and flourishing oregano live no more when after being bitten by ceaseless rains on the weekend previous when I was away and frost they could no longer hold on to their lives. They wilted into a mulch, and my heart cried with anguish .
I have been able to salvage a few remaining aloe Vera but the oregano I'm afraid is no more.
To think this was one of the best oregano plants I've had, when for almost two years they kept growing and I had them in such abundance that I'd taken to giving it away to friends for their pizza or pasta evenings.
Now I have cleared almost 3 kilos of dead greenery that was wet and cold and I could see how the frost has seeped into their roots and instantly killed them.
My sads are rather severe.

That was a large part of today and now the clothes hum in the machine, my speakers sing with mellow morning music, the beds are made, the cats are fed and the house is cleaned..all that remains is a cup of hot tea with no interruptions between me and my cuppa joy and then we go forth with today.
