Awake

I saw a huge board game thrown carelessly away on the road and contemplated taking it.
It was a rather large box, the kind that could easily fit a five year old and what with incantations written in odd fonts and dragon faces and knights faces drawn in colourful fiery background I knew it to be a fantasy game which I'd never have played on my own but seeing how it was just lying on the road thrown away in perfect condition I wondered why not?
It'd be a good way to pass the time, and so I opened the box and almost everything inside was in mint condition if in a little disarray but that's alright.
Next scenery I'm floating face to the sky in a thin shallow stream that's a bit like a river no more than a couple feet deep, pristine and transparent like plastic foil.
I'm just floating in it looking at the sky and it's a popular picnic spot too because many a people are camped on either side, listening to music, talking, lounging under the dull sun and the sky above is blue with thin strands of clouds that seem to be suspended in various layers and suddenly I see something large flying or was it floating? huge translucent squids and cuttlefishes just floating above and my eyes follow, then there were other large fish all mostly blue coloured and near translucent floating in the sky, and there were schools upping schools of large sharks, sperm whales, baleens all blue some with spots gliding on the clouds,
I sat still in the water and stared at that vision but suddenly a huge wall of water marred my reverie and I saw a tsunami wave coming towards us.
Somehow I already knew what was going to happen.
Standing on a high plane I saw the crowd rush in the opposite direction and I waited to spot my friend whom I then plucked out of the crowd and held her hand and began running in another direction.
She didn't understand why I was doing so but I had no time to explain.
People took shelter in large buildings that began exploding, and almost every structure was blowing up.
I had somehow known this would happen and I kept away from everything, finding clear spaces and avoiding crowds and stampede.
Always turning in directions and evading whatever it is that was following us and then I woke up.
