People be shying from sugar like it's the plague, what sense when you've eaten three slices of pizza only to shun sugar?

God forbid I ask for sugar to put in my tea or coffee and hear a small lecture on how bad it is from someone who's not done an ounce of workout in their life.

'I only use stevia or agave' they'll say and my smile beguiles the fact that I don't care.

I'd rather use a hefty spoon of sugar rather than artificial sweeteners and so should you. If it's artificial it's not good, and if sugar is spiking your insulin then just stop it completely instead of going for new fangled syrups and sweeteners.

Yes, too much sugar is bad just as too much everything is bad. I mean even too much water is bad, it could dissolve your electrolytes and that'd put you straight into a hospital immediately.

Having a couple spoonfuls of sugar in tea and or coffee is fine. Drinking soda is bad.
Health drinks bought off a supermarket shelf are bad..one has only to look at the list of ingredients at the back to know the reality of any product. If there's anything more than a handful of words listed at the back you know that stuff is processed to the heavens and back, or rather hell.

Diet coke is bad, fat emulsified ice creams are bad,  packaged juice is bad, and yet those are served freely in lieu of a small cube of sugar for coffee.

I ask you what's wrong with people?

'Oh working out is impossible for me so I just do dietary restraints' .. that's alright. You do you. but don't tell me I can't have sugar in my tea.

Two cubes of sugar are about 18 calories. I can afford ten times those calories if I want..you keep them away but by the gods don't talk like an overbearing nutritionist.

'I made this without oil, even this is without oil' ..no wonder it tastes so ghastly. Goddamit.

There's no need to go oil free for heaven's sake and air frying potatoes in an air fryer is the reason why gods refuse to shed their light upon your darkened souls.

There's a difference between using fair amounts of oil in a dish and drowning it in fat, but for some people, it means the very same thing.

and there's no end of advice..

what do you do?
grin and bear it and excuse yourself to have a sweetened cup of ginger tea at home.
