New monkey, old tricks

Feels like people have started going out of their way to find things that offend them and then create a ruckus when they feel offended.

I mean screw you if you're offended. 

Yeah so now everything is offensive, there is a politically correct terminology for every goddamn thing lest someone might get offended. 

What's the latest mass outrage about I wonder?

Social media sites are pretty much a tool for every moronic opinion and that's exactly what they're full of. Morons! 

This is what happens when you've too much time on your hands, when everything is done through apps, when you don't want to develop any special skills that gets your hands dirty. 

You've only to pout, filter, strip, click and that's it. Hundreds get to know you..by doing absolutely nothing and lo! you've a sizeable following of a thousand block heads, who can be easily herded into saying yes to anything halfwitted you'd want to say.

I mean who wants to wrack their heads over an issue? There's somebody out there with an ignoramus opinion and well..let's follow that. 

being offended is business for the idle. When you've too much time to keep mulling over an issue and tear it apart from root to tip, nerve by nerve and keep ruminating over it, until you find that bit where you feel like it might be offensive and there you are. 

Terry Pratchett would have something to say/write about it. 

Speaking of which, I'm back on my reading wagon..I'd kinda gone on a word hiatus for a while back there, and now that I'm here, I realize I'm oddly free.
