When people make social calls at 10:00 in the morning while I'm still clutching a mop and figuring out the best way to clean corners!
My dear friend who'd also looked after my cats visited me this morning and stayed on till noon.
I sat unbathed, drinking barley tea and discussing state of affairs until she left.
I mean I have nothing against helpful friends but going over to someone's house that early is a bit of inconvenience.
Nevertheless it was quite good to see her and a lot of fun to bitch about everyone!
She ladled a bowl of gossips and we mulched over how shitty everything feels here these days.
