V for vacuity

Everything has to be about something all the damn time. Like we're looking for special occasions to rely on. Case in point Valentine's Day.
Suddenly everything on tv, commercials, videos, songs, movies are about Valentine's Day and love and romance and barf.
It's like we always need something to look forward to all the time or else the time stops.

There was New Years, before that it was Christmas, and now it's valentines.
Valentines clothes, makeup, jewellery, food, valentine inspired everything except it's all done to death and almost redundant. Nothing inspiring about it at all, and who even cares about valentines?
Like do people wait for it to to go to special places and celebrate the one day of love that is unlike any other day?
Are clouds heart shaped that day? Who even started drawing hearts ♥️ like this? When in fact they're, well, a lot more bloody with arteries and chambers.
I mean since when did heart get to be so unfleshy and pretty? Heart is disgusting and wonderful at the same time. It pumps blood and beats like a goddamn organ. Stop projecting it like an easy tool for love that can be drawn like a red butt.
So yes, valentines. I mean come on.
