yeah

How fun are anti-allergy meds?
I slept all night last night and if the dreams are anything to go by then I'll have them the rest of my life, however these are meant to last only 5 days.

I'll take what I got!

VPN voila

The thing about VPN as much as I get exasperated by it is that it can be full of such incidental surprises that the frustrations it causes can sometimes be glossed over.
Case in point Netflix.
In order to watch Arrested Development or other some series I have to connect through American locations but today since I had work that needed doing and vpn was of importance and none of the locations in the USA seemed to connect me I got through Hong Kong and just for kicks browsed Netflix.

I didn't find Arrested Development nor Peaky blinders but by the gods, I hit a treasure trove and how did it come to go amiss is beyond me but I found myself deliciously ensnared by a Japanese CGI anime movie which is easily filling the void that I'd been feeling for a while, viz, not having found some yummy anime to get glued on to.

The movie in question is Gantz:o.
Science fiction to the level what on earth, awesomely weird in the way only Japanese can manage with insanely lovely action sequences hammered to seamless perfection with gratuitous violence. Oh, the blood and guts and overall mania that is this movie and did I mention the graphics?
I mean they've done it again or rather outdone it all over. I couldn't get my eyes off the perfectly computer generated strands of hair that characters have and it's a visual delight this movie.
As beautiful as the Manga was as fantastic as the anime must have been (I didn't watch it, but I will have to) this movie kills every way possible without the glossy blood spurts too.
It's raw, filthy, grimy and abhorrent in a way that makes you open your eyes wide.
It's got an 18+rating so that's all good in my book.

Halfway through and I'd have watched more had I not to get dressed to go out for Friday night drinks and dinner.
But I know what I'm getting glued to next.

la-la weather and mood

I just, I can't even..blue skies, chirping birds, sunshine and beauteousness all round. It's overwhelming, I'm in tears and I just sat in the balcony, soaking some Vit D, having my lunch reclining on the chair, feet atop a footstool, cat on my lap and the world was indeed happy, that is until someone rang the bell and I had to break the calm of my harmonious worldly oneness to shake the cat off the lap, get up from the almost sleepy position and trudge towards the door to find a stranger who looked more surpised than me because he'd gotten into the wrong building and broken my reverie.
I spent some more time fitting back into my previous position like a Tetris block but this wouldn't last I knew. Things had to be done, there was work afoot, and I couldn't just lounge about, now could I? I mean I could but perhaps on a weekend when there's no rush; seeing how it is Tuesday the faith stays in short supply.
But this mellow warmth tinged with slight coolness during the afternoon which rapidly depletes as the sun goes down is much welcome and is here to stay for a few days until the weather gets cold again, but it's pretty much pleasantly cold in varying degrees after that. It's not yet denim jacket pleasant, but definitely not the thermal wear season anymore either.

This morning began with frightful chirps of birds that seemed all too glad to have found sun after almost months of intermittent gloom and it wasn't with a heavy heart that I found myself waking up, but with a light footstep and though my morning mood is mostly murderous it was almost congenial in that scary schizophrenic way and as fearful as I am of stepping out of the house too early to buy vegetables I found my heart volunteering for the deed and thusly I spent a good half hour sitting on a park bench near the river and came back laden with fruits and veg and even some tentacled dead bodies that I intend to cook up tomorrow.

I might even be tempted to sunbathe if the weather continues to stay so deliciously comforting and in fact, I'm resolved to clean up my balcony and get rid of all the lazy pile-ups of forgotten pots and soil by planting seeds and other such gardening endeavours.

I'm going to begin spring cleaning very soon.

compass points me to the left

Let me tell you how distracted, useless and in no mood to do anything constructive I was today.

I actually took a test on the political compass to see where I stand and I didn't think I'd be here. I thought my economic dimensions would be a little higher above, but maybe some other time when my views change some more when I'm absolutely disillusioned. Maybe I still believe in a bit of Utopia.

here's the website

let us know in case you take a test..
