something tender

I am contemplating a small cup of tea before getting on with some more chores viz cleansing my wardrobe and here's the problem! My legs feel like they're cast in cement!

Looks like my HIIT was quite the hit. Ugh!

Here's the thing, after 25 minutes of fast-paced with 15 seconds in between breaks of HIIT I found myself dead on the mat, drenched in the sweat of my own making, hoping to revive and get on with cool down but after about 5 minutes I found myself fully recovered and in fact almost felt like I'd not done any workout whatsoever!
Of course, such tricks as played by the body are not as stealthy anymore as they might have been when I was still new to the ways of workout and so I knew that anything that might be more cardio or HIIT would put me down with fatigue and so I resorted to another 20 minutes of upper body strength. It was after all meant to be since yesterday was a lower body.

So it went, nothing extraordinary. Just a few curls, raises ventral and side, tricep extensions, chest press and dumbbell pullovers. 2 sets of each, each set of 10 and yeah that completed it.

Now I have an entire sore body in cahoots with my craving for tea.
The problems with winters I say..

biscotti fever

You might remember of my sudden craving for cantucci aka biscotti which has once again risen its sweet head and now that I'm fully equipped because last time I had no flour on me, I have now three different kinds of flour and the exact one I might need to make this recipe.
I'm in the mood for a fragrantly spiced pumpkin seed biscotti with some chocolate elements because I can be given to gilding the lily at times and today is that day.

To the kitchen then!

speculoos urges

I'm just sitting, wracking my head over how I'd like a sentence to sound when out of nowhere the need to eat a biscotti dipped in hot coffee arises.
And now just any biscotti but a spiced pumpkin seeds one.
This is silly!
Ridiculous even. These cravings get superlative and beyond comprehension so much so that if it doesn't abate then I might have to make some spiced seed biscotti's tomorrow!
Well, I have no cookies or biscuits at home anyways so this served as a good excuse.

'Why does this house have no snacks??' I was irritatedly asked the other day.

The answer is simple.
I'm not a snacker and the person who is a snacker ends up eating all the snacks and trolling snack sections doesn't come naturally to me, so that's there.

Why did this little bit of information have to come up?
Because I feel like eating a biscotti.
