That I have been in a horrid mood since yesterday would be an understatement not least because ever since the passport renewal appointment and the stupid company outsourced as middle men instead of directly going to consulate have successfully irritated me to a level I feel is utterly unjustified.

What's the point of asking for documents that are not needed and not mentioned in the roster of documents required for passport renewal?

How can something so simple that got done within a week in Shanghai (cuz I sent the passport directly to the consulate as there were no middlemen ) become such a mess here?

Everything is about money. They started with cribbing about my passport photo and urged me to get a new one clicked in the Photo Booth for 10euro, okay!

Then they started asking for documents I didn't have.
Well, I don't have them I said cuz it's not mentioned .

Then they made me write an application that I don't have these documents and that the absence of said documents should be overlooked.
I don't understand what's going on?!
Then they said if the said documents are still required I should send them vial e mail!!

What??! But if these documents are so important why aren't they mentioned in the long list of required documents on the website and literally everywhere?

The company in question that I'm hating on is VFS. It's a bane for foreign travellers and anyone who wishes to get a visa inadvertently ends up locking horns with them and they make life miserable.

I hate coming in contact with them.
They're like an STD
I've had a long standing issue with them and each time I come in their vicinity they fuck my mood so gloriously it haunts me for weeks.
They're a fucking trauma center.

Ask anyone who's had to travel abroad and go through VFS! They'll tell you.
