Once again this morning I'd an appointment with the vet and I walked a good 2 kms to reach her and now Gogi is a part of the French vet system and his medicines etc will be provided anytime I require as the vet will now make it a point to stock his injections and tablets on a monthly basis.
His next check ups are already scheduled for September or October and I can finally breathe with relief as I wasn't sure how to go about this entire situation with Gogi.
Well the system here is different cuz back in Shanghai I only had to send a WeChat message to the hospital and the medicines in surplus would get delivered to my house via the powers of Asian delivery systems that our countries have surplus of, but that doesn't exist here! Here everything has a system. Gasp!
Also things work via e mails. No WhatsApp or any of that informal messaging crap. It's e mails or messages.
If the the hospitals are shut they will send me an e mail in advance to pick his medicines before they close for whatever holidays and I'm case I need to book an appointment I should send an e mail too. Or make a call will also suffice.
The doctor has taken quite a liking to me. She finds me rather interesting as I'm the only foreign clientele who isn't used to their way of operating things. She's also amazed I'm
able to give Gogi sub cutaneous injections, something most people here don't give their animals.
I have also got the rest of my babes insured. Pet insurance is apparently a thing and what am I if not a part of all things?!
Ah well. We are all getting to know each other.
