I take inventory of this dark brooding morning with little light to prove its existence. Looking about the room and its two furry inhabitants I know I'm back in the arms of cold familiar which has a certain warmth that I'd missed these few days.
Perhaps it was the cats or maybe just the house that had been replaced by a pretty cottage, but mostly it was my little babies whom I'd missed dearly.
Drinking lemon water and wondering how I'd got on without any of my usual habits of drinking hot water and tea each morning because these were a couple things utterly absent this last week.
Almost nine and by this time I was finished with my workout, breakfast and was gearing for a dip in the sea opposed to which I'm currently lounging in the couch and making a mental note of turning on the washing machine.
Heralding new year with a bunch of strangers and a mini adventure of sorts that happened in the resort I was staying made it a bit unique I'd say.
I think the small incident that happened which resulted in me sitting with the police for a good three hours on New Year's Eve deserves a special post of its own and I'll write about it soon.
It was funny, and no, nothing happened to me.
I was a witness and well, this is the first time I went through something of this sort.
Yes. So another post.
Right now I pour some more water and contemplate tea.
