Not that it's cold, but because there's frost, there's rain and the combination of the two has turned everything to ice!
Ice,Which is usually never an issue with me but when the roads, the pavements, the stairs outside to exit the house are all covered in a layer of slippery ice, there is much to complain.
Case in point me stepping out of the house momentarily and slipping hard in the small stepping stair outside that I nearly fell and cracked my face, except thankfully I didn't. I found my bearings in time and stood frozen and walked back meekly into the house .
I shouldn't laugh but watching people navigate their steps outside the house to the car whilst grabbing on every blade of grass to keep from falling was comedy gold .
I something about people falling on their asses is hilarious.
Anyway I am not going to leave the house until this issue is resolved.
This weather phenomena wasn't something I experienced much in Shanghai. Strangely enough despite their continuous rains.
Right then.
Onwards and upwards and maybe sideways too.
