Cold zone

There isn't a haunted house that is colder than my house right now.
I mean I don't get it.
The heater is switched on and the room feels warmer than the rest of the house and yet it's freezing.
My hands are cold, my feet are frozen, my nose is red and I am indoors, not like I'm standing outside!
