Who let the dogs out?

That I'm beginning to smell like a zookeeper would be a statement most true because I'm deep in animals these days.
2 dogs and 2 cats and there we have it.

I have another complain vis-a-vis dog owners who don't keep their dogs on a leash because perhaps their dogs are very obedient and some of them are, who bark at nothing no matter what, walking in a straight line behind their people, and some unruly pieces of fur give the idea that they're obedient but in reality aren't and their owners are stupid to the point of over confidence and keep their little canines without a leash free to run amuck.

Today we came gave to face with a poodle.
The name conjures images of small oddly clumped fur animals and most of them are but the poodle we came to face was one larger than a Labrador, all white and snarling.
It wasn't on a leash; dog walking has its own challenges and coming across dogs not on a leash is the biggest of all.
This poodle in question came charging and almost pounced on the dogs and by the heavens the grief these dogs caused by barking up a ruckus.
The poodle owner can running behind and saw me standing between his poodle and the two dogs I was walking, in the midst of a woofing cacophony.

I was drowned in apologies and the man sheepishly produced a leash.

I walked on, too riled to say anything.
No one was hurt but I was ready to kick the poodle if it had bitten any of my responsibilities.
