Fist in the air

Morning and I have been awake for a while.

People have left for Poland and I look at the day lying ahead and all the things I need to do in it.
No too promising but let's try!

The cats are wandering around the house in utter darkness.
I haven't turned on most lights and it's pitched dark. The sun will rise in a bit, but for now it's nighttime as far as they are concerned.

Listening to light music before I dive nose first or fall from grace.
Whichever comes first!

Nothing good but just so

So it's a Tuesday
The weather outside is pleasant and the house is unrelenting in its coldness.
I feel like lighting a fire and sitting inside of it.

Today I have to fix my study room which people call studio for some reason so that I can start working there asap.

The only problem is that the room is cold and I have to do quite a bit of stuff to get it in order.
But I got to. There's no way around it.

The cats are all asleep and keeping warm and I have kept a few on top of me to stay warm. They're like tiny fur heaters.

Glitches

The sound on laptop is so much more different than the one from MacBook that I am unable to gauge the volume .
This is not good.
Also a lot of fonts are missing. I think I had downloaded those fonts? I'm not sure.
Making a few tweaks.
Let's see how things work .

Whiffs of morn

Morning Madame

Monday and I woke up late. I didn't do the usual that is making lunch etc. Nothing at all.
Right now I'm sipping tea, then workout, then shower and lunch and then editing. I finished about 40% editing yesterday and I have the rest to finish today. I hope I can do it before dinner time.

I'm still unable to find that routine where everything is seamless.

I'm also thinking of tidying up the study room and get back to working in it because the damned place is so cold, as it is placed in the corner that gets no sun and it's plenty cold all the time, but nothing that can't be solved with a heater.

Working in the lounge area has too many distractions and I am always in the mix of things instead of being isolated from the usual to concentrate.

Right then.
Today and let's go!

How fucking incompatible is apple to anything which isn't apple??!
It's infuriating.
Gods I'm trying to use my new machine and my iPhone is utterly refusing to connect to my new dell laptop!

My review

Watched the anime movie 'maboroshi' by mappa studios.

The animation style is classic, reminiscent of good anime movies from the 2000's, sadly it's also as complicated, strange and follows a similar existential strangeness that anime movies once used to follow which at that time were the pinnacle of animation style and story telling and we loved it too, however after the evolution of it all this seems a bit dated in a way that is a bit lacklustre and difficult to follow in its complexity of plot.

Not a big fan, but the animation is simply stupendous.

So Saturday then.
I went out to look at stuff and ended up buying some cushion covers :)
Also, had a pretty excellent cup of coffee and came back home.
The cat is alright for now.
