Today

I'd bought a couple kilos of chocolates thinking of Halloween and thank heavens for that because kids have already started coming to my door.
It's apparently a thing here
It wasn't that big in China in the sense that kids dressed up but didn't really come knocking on doors. In some places they did, like my previous compound but some people complained about the incessant door bell ringing and it was curbed to an extent but till now I have already given treats and showed a couple tricks to a bunch of witches, two Harry potters, one zombie and three fairies.

Which means the time difference is now 4.5 hours 😢
I don't like this

Not the weather which will keep raining for the next two weeks
Not the fact that my washing machine has broken down
