yikes my forgets

 Oh dear, did I forget tomorrow?

It's a Chrstmas office party and colour coordinated one at that, in that one is at the very least expected to make an effort to dress up in the colour codes mentioned!

Ugh,  hate such parties not least cuz they're uptight and formal but also because I turn into a representative of somebody amongst people I barely recognize.

So? what colour are we going with?

Let's see.. there was silver, white, gold, black and green. Was there a red as well?

Hmm. 

Gotta pick out some stuff.

I have a very elegant pair of trousers/pants in cream sort of hue and a sweater with gold detailing and a long coat/jacket with sort of autumnal yellow and brown hues and plenty of gold jewellery!

I guess gold it is then.

have to get them things ironed though! and I don't have the ironing chops that are needed for professional and proper ironing of coats and now I gotta get my ass out in this horrid rainy weather and go to a shop to get things ironed.

Ugh!!!!

I am already rolling my eyes. 

There better be good food though!

Oh baby food kiss

Lunch was a delicious potato salad with some bits of squid, eggs and vegetables with a tall glass of freshly  squeezed orange juice. 

Was it delicious? Only extremely but next time I'll switch the squid for prawns. 

The dressing wasn't the usual thick mayo dressing but in fact a thin creamy dressing made with mustard and some salt and pepper and lemon juice. 

Nice!! 

Phew and yes!

Workout Friday done!! 

HIIT with weights with no rest periods except when you need it. It killed me and then it revived me. 

Also my camera inverts my image.

Weekend morning tea in question with two small slices of extra toasted toasted slathered with butter and my weekend cuppa tea. 

Hell yeah! 

Small tings

Say one thing about Thursday say it's coming to an end finally!!
I am waiting to drink an extra large mug of tea tomorrow. An indulgence reserved for weekends; when other days I drink a smaller mug in the morning and maybe just another even smaller cup in the afternoon, tomorrow I will drink two large ones.
