My gripe
Is that there are no malls here
In this grey, wet, icy weather when the insides of the house feel too mundane and outside too adventurous one wants to settle for a middle path, a place or rather a space where one can walk around, look at things, window shop, see a bit of crowd, eat a bit, have some coffee, walk some more, listen to some generic music and just generally be, without being wet or frozen and experience some good vibes under one roof.
One needs a mall for these activities, something Asian countries understand because of their extreme weather, and European countries staunchly refuse to consider.
I mean here I was feeling sick of being home and refusing to go grocery shopping cuz I cannot stand the smell or look of another superstore and having no avenues to just be out and about , walk around or look around at different shops and restaurants cuz it's been raining relentless and at that moment I wished there was a mall where I could spend some time doing everything I had been thinking about whilst staying warm.
Alas, here people would rather stay home or sit in a restaurant for hours but they won't consider going to a mall, not that there is any mall to go to.
