Are you kidding me Sunday?

Today is sultrier than devils furnace and more humid than a Turkish bath.
I am pretty much done with this weather and adding to my woes is the DIY project 'people' have undertaken which includes spraying every piece of wood in this house with vinegar and then painting it with wood oil paint to repel fungus that is a plague we face every summer season.

The idea was nice but this morning I woke up to a house smelling like rancid ass and then the pungent smells of wood oil paint which is stickier than an ex, harassed my existence.
The floors are abundant with newspapers to keep the spillage from touching tiles and I've had a hard time keeping all the cats inside a room .
This house is upturned and looks like it did a month back.
WTF!
I just want a placid Sunday.
Now I'm overworked because people are way out of their depth with this one.
They didn't gauge how problematic and sticky the wood oil paint can get and how it takes half a century to dry up.
When I say sticky darling, I mean sticky.
Imagine rolling about in sugar syrup and then drying it and feeling yourself .
Yes, it's a bit worse than that.
All the shoes are heaped up at the entrance while the shoe rack sits drying slowly and I'm kind of upset about this entire undertaking.
My balcony is full of furniture pieces and photo frames and chairs that have all gotten a sticky coat and sit drying out in the sun on the third floor.
I mean one could have waited for backyard work to finish and then do these things in the backyard.
But no!
