Where once I was an early morning riser (unwilling) I have now downgraded to being simply a riser who wakes up anytime between 8-9 and although this is most ideal I find it a massive deterrent to my daily chores.
When usually I'd be awake and done with many things much before 9, I find my usual life beginning at that time.
This is not done.
It delayed my workout timings, lunch timings and ultimately my sleep timings which are the reason I don't wake up early.
But my lord to wake up early I have to sleep early and I find it most relaxing to walk around in the garden and sit on a chair until it's dark which happens around 10PM.
I start unwinding quite late and after that I read my book or manga and I end up sleeping around 12.
But also earlier I stuck to the same schedule in Shanghai and no matter when I slept I'd always wake up around 6 or sometimes earlier.
So now all I gotta do it tell myself to wake up early.
And I'm lacking sufficiently in that discipline.
Sighs.
