In the long of it

Say one thing about taking a day off say it throws the rest of the day in turmoil.
Case in point yesterday when I was gone pretty early in the morning, sometime after ten and came back around seven to a house full of meowing hungry cats and no preparations for dinner.
That I jeujed up a pot of pasta quicker than you could say 'hello' would be an understatement and even though that pasta was more than two servings, people in the house didn't feel quite full after and so before I could come up with another meal to fill up the crannies, pizza was ordered.

What?? I said! This is the middle of the week. Pizzas are for weekend but my small voice went unheard under a pile of blue cheese and rest of the evening spiralled out of control, what with the opening of a wine bottle etc.
I didn't partake much in the activities because for me 'fun' is weekend stuff.

I have workouts to go through this week, recipes to type and pictures to click.
Tomorrow is my recipe clicking day for the food blog and I am thinking of making something I love to eat often after workouts.

How was yesterday you ask?
It was great in that I ended up buying a chopping board and the friend in question who actually wanted to look at home goods and check out small furniture's and other house supplies actually paid not much mind to anything and kept shopping online for scarves etc while walking through the showroom.

I mean wtf!
And here I was showing her coffee tables, pointing at rugs and throws and cushion covers, suggesting bookshelves and side tables and there she was making me look at scarves online.

I ended up buying some cushion covers, tea light candles, a chopping board, white gauzy curtains for bedroom, a glass mug and a runner.
Whereas she bought piles of colourful paper napkin boxes and dog beds.
Literally none of the things she had decided upon.

I mean what even??!
But even so it was a lovely day and I had fun.

Right then.
On with some laundry and then workout!
