Scented spaces sans sense

Sick day 6

To say that I'm in the pink of health would be a bit of overreach because I still can't smell anything and my ears need a bit of unplugging but apart from that it's great, if you call breathing through the mouth anything passable then yes I'm alright.
Today was a couple hours spent at the mall because the weather was unfit to be spent outside and a movie would be too much of an outing which is why strolling about in the midst of glitz and bright was exactly what I did and a total of two hours spent out seeing the world was perhaps what I needed.
Mall isn't my ideal haunting ground but sometimes it's alright I guess.
Let's see, I had some coffee which was supposedly awesome but I could perceive nothing save slight bitterness along with which I had a bite or two of a very dense chocolate cake which was I gather sweet and fudgy and much too filling. I wouldn't be able to rate it because of its flavour and taste I could say nothing with certainty.
There was a lovely shop of niche reed diffusers and some striking bottles caught my eyes.
One called 'walk in the woods' came with high praises and was eventually bought by people which could have smelled like the Kohinoor of home scents and yet I picked nothing, my olfactory disorder seems to have reached new heights, I was however drawn to a coriander and cedar scent which I found rather intriguing but was later told that smelled like a salad. Well, I wouldn't know because I can't freaking smell anything.
This feels horrible.
