9:20 in the AM and I'm having my first sip of water ever since I woke up two hours ago.
I mean I did have a couple large swigs of the liquid immediately after I woke up as well but to sit and finally be able to drink as is my wont is happening right now.
How and why did life get so hectic?!
Maybe because people have started leaving a little later than usual, which makes it easy for me to wake up late but also the entire day gets pushed a bit.
I'm resolved to have tea a bit earlier and get my workout done before the housekeeper arrives.
Today is Pilates only!
It's my recovery day but not without some burn.
I won't be doing any jumping or lifting but I'm going to give my thighs and glutes a bit to think about.
Yesterday I lifted quite heavy with descending reps (12,10,8) in AbAb format for upper body and today I do not feel that soreness except in my back and my arms and it's nowhere close to what I could generally feel.
Maybe I'm going numb.
My iPad is discharged and I'm feeling saddened by the fact that I won't be able to get my morning tube fix which I find myself spending some time with while drinking tea.
I've started reading a new book after finishing 'the importance of being Earnest' by Oscar Wilde. It was a fun book, just that it's been written so long ago that the novelty of the trope having been done to death for a hundred years after renders it a bit moot at this point but still the writing style is quite something to luxuriate in.
The book I'm currently reading is 'the scarlet Letter' by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Yes a lot of old stuff!! But it's how things usually get for me.
Once I'm done with this I'll get on to some nicer newer stuff.
The audiobook is still going strong and I'm nearing the end of it.

It's cold!
About 5°C right now and the house though warmer still isn't as warm as one would like it to be.
Tea is on the horizon and it beckons to me with its gingery pepperiness.
Soonest.
